Shareholders

The main communication channel that we use to provide information about the company's evolution and strategy is the Shareholders and Investors web page available at www.repsol.com. This provides information including:

  • The various annual reports
  • Quarterly financial information
  • Daily market closes.
  • Everything relating to the Annual Shareholders' Meeting

In addition, Repsol has a Shareholder Information Office, which shareholders can use to request any information they might need, either by visiting the office, using a free telephone line – 900 100 100 – or by mail or email.

The SIO attended to approximately 52,000 calls in 2010, an average of 200 per day. The most common consultations focused on the share price, the Annual Shareholders' Meeting, the policy and dates for the payment of dividends, as well as a variety of facts about the company. Moreover, in 2010, we received about 5,000 emails requesting information on Repsol.

The Investor Relations Policy involves formulating, directing and coordinating the activities needed to meet Repsol's objectives in its relations with institutional and retail shareholders and investors (current and potential), as well as with financial analysts and the financial community in general, both in Spain and other countries. It also works to ensure that all these communications provide a correct and coherent understanding of Repsol, in order to help investors in their decision-making.
